How do I book an appointment?

What information will I need to make an appointment?

To book your appointment, we will need your name and telephone number. It's a good idea to have your diary to hand when you ring. We are happy to answer any questions you have.

What are your hours?

The Good Health Clinic is open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 7pm. Each therapist has a unique schedule and may not be available all days and times. We will endeavour to schedule you at a time that is most convenient for you.

Is there parking?

There is a market car park on Finkle street by the library and the post office just down from the clinic. Alternatively, street parking is available around Selby.

Do you take walk-ins?

All appointments must be pre-booked to ensure that your therapist is ready to give you the best treatment possible.

How do I know which therapy is best for me?

If you are unsure which therapy or class will suit you best, please ring the Good Health Clinic and we will be happy to advise you.

Are the treatments suitable for all ages?

Many treatments are available for all ages and genders. However some restrictions may apply and it's always best to confirm when making your appointment.

What happens at my appointment?

At your first session, some personal data will be needed about your contact details, health history and symptoms related to your present condition. Each therapist uses their own forms to record that information and the data is protected by the General Data Protection Regulation. You can find the Clinic privacy policy here. Your therapist will ask you many questions and may possibly to a physical exam before starting your treatment. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions. The treatment will either start then, or if this is a preliminary appointment, you can make a date with your therapist for your treatment to start.

What if I can't make my appointment?

If you are unable to make your appointment, please ring your therapist diirectly or the Clinic on 01757 429685 at least 24 hours before your appointment time. Failure to cancel within that time period may result in a fee for the missed appointment.

I have a health issue, can I still receive treatment or participate in classes?

Every therapy and therapist is different and will have their own guildlines about treatment safety. Many health issues can be treated or worked around. But it is always best to ask at the time you make your appointment to avoid disappointment.

Can I receive treatment if I'm in a lot of pain?

Treatment at the time you are experiencing a high level of pain is not always in your best interest. It is always best to discuss this with your therapist before you make your appointment.

Can my therapist contact and work along with my other healthcare providers?

Your therapist can liaise with your other healthcare providers if they have written permission from you to do so.

What about patient privacy?

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations, the Good Health Clinic has a privacy policy which you can find here.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Gift vouchers for any therapy or class are available from the Good Health Clinic.
